GT Koolout Radio was Launched on Janurary 13, 2010 to the world via the internet. We are an internet radio streaming online 24 hours, 365 days. Choose from anyone off the three radios and enjoy. Check our winter & summer scheduled live shows with DJ Brian-Kool playing the best Reggae & Soca. Saturday is our weekend mix up. (New York, eastern time) Our genere is Reggae and Soca, some Chuttney, Zook and Oldies (GT). GT koolout Radio moto is to represent Guyana and the Caribbean to the fullest playing positive Caribbean music and sharing good information. 
As a teenager in Guyana music was my passion and escape from the average teenage nonsense. I started buying records and playing music (at about 18 yrs old) at house parties which I enjoyed very much. Of course, I then became DJ Brian-Kool, the name given to me by a friend. My first album was Natty Dread by Bob Marley and the Wailers. It is now a digital file mp3. I had the big sound system (Studio 172), Dj at some New York clubs, Canada, Europe and Guyana. I remember going to the record stores to get the latest Reggae, Soca, R&B either from Brooklyn, Queens or Manhattan. After being in the music business for 30 years as a DJ and aquiring a broadcasting license 8 years ago. Later, I decided to start my own internet Radio. Thanks to technology, the internet, computers and digital files (mp3). Here at GT KOOLOUT RADIO we encourage everyone to stay connected and pass our link to friends, family & associates.
